Inviting Entries for NANDI THEATRE AWARDS 2012
The Andhra Pradesh State Film Television and Theatre Development Corporation Limited is organizing Nandi Awards on behalf of Government of Andhra Pradesh for best Theatre performances.
Applications/Entries are invited from interested persons / Nataka Samajams / Schools for Andhra Pradesh State Nandi Awards to Theatrical Plays in Telugu language in four categories viz: Padya Natakams, Social Plays, Social Play-lets and Children Social Play-lets for the year 2012. The plays and play-lets which have participated in the competitions of Parishads during the year 2012 shall not be eligible for Entry.
Books on Theatre published during the period from 01.01.2012 to 31.12.2012 are eligible for Nandi Theatre Award for “Best Book on Theatre”.
The entries received are likely to be scrutinized in the month of November/December, 2012 and Nandi Natakotsavam will be celebrated in the month of January/February, 2013.
The Entry Forms along with Andhra Pradesh State Nandi Theatre Awards Regulations can be obtained from the Corporation from 15.09.2012 on payment of Rs.200/- by way of Demand Draft/Banker’s Cheque in favour of “Andhra Pradesh State Film Television and Theatre Development Corporation Limited” payable at Hyderabad.
Entry Forms complete in all respects accompanied by the required documents should be submitted to the Corporation as shown below:
For Nandi Theatre Awards - On or before 31.10.2012 by 5.00 PM
For Best Book on Theatre Award - On or before 10.01.2013 by 5.00 PM
Incomplete Entry Forms not accompanied with the relevant documents strictly as per the Andhra Pradesh State Nandi Theatre Awards Regulations will not be considered. Entry Forms received after the due date will be rejected irrespective of the postal delays or under any other circumstances.
